1. Jenis Tawon Vespa Affinis
Serangga yang memiliki warna dominan hitam dan panjang tubuh kurang lebih 30 mm ini umumnya tidak mematikan, namun berbahaya apabila menyengat manusia yang memiliki alergi terhadap racunnya. Ada kasus di daerah Klaten, Jawa Tengah yang menewaskan dua orang akibat sengatan tawon berjenis vespa affinis atau yang sering terkenal dengan tawon ndas. Tawon ndas biasanya membangun sarang di tempat yang tinggi, seperti di atas pohon, ataupun di tempat yang rendah, seperti di dalam bangunan.
2. Vespa Tropica

Lebah yang satu ini juga memiliki panjang tubuh antara 20-30 mm dan termasuk salah satu kategori hama, mengingat ia memangsa larva dari lebah madu. Sama seperti vespa analis, vespa velutina kerap juga membuat sarangnya di tempat yang tinggi dengan tekstur sarang jauh lebih kasar.
5. Cicada Killers
Dari namanya saja sudah menyeramkan “Killers”. Mempunyai sarang di bawah tanah dan sasarannya adalah jangkrik. Akan tetapi, bisa juga menyerang manusia. Tawon jenis ini juga sangat mudah berkembang biak.
6. Jenis Tawon Kertas
